Relish puzzle

Thank you so much! Even though my mother isn't always up for doing them, when we do, she loves it. I especially like the fact that you can leave the half-done puzzle in the box and continue another time. And the picture in the lid is very practical too.

Nice but the pieces are not very stable

The puzzle is made from cardboard that's a little too thin and rigid. As a result, the pieces don't fit together very well, nor do they lie very flat on the surface.

Thank you for your comment. The puzzle pieces are sturdy enough to make them easy to handle and resistant. They are 2mm thick and were specifically designed to meet the needs of older adults living with dementia.

I did it once with Mom. I had to help her place the pieces, but it didn't matter. It gave us an excuse to talk about the holiday season in her day.

About Relish

Relish's founder Ben Atkinson-Willes had a grandfather with Alzheimer’s disease who loved making jigsaw puzzles. It became increasingly difficult to find an appropriate puzzle as his condition progressed. This sparked the idea of Active Minds, that later became Relish. The company provides meaningful products for people living with dementia to improve their quality of life.<

Each puzzle consists of thirty-five pieces that can be assembled within the frame and on a specially printed backing board that is designed to assist and encourage the individual to complete the puzzle themselves.
After completing a thirteen-piece puzzle, someone in their early or mid-stage may want more of a challenge – that’s where the thirty-five-piece puzzle comes in.
