  • How does the Companion Cat work?
    • Pet its left cheek and it will move its head toward the hand
    • Pet the back of its head/its back and it will purr
    • If you keep petting it, it will roll on its back to have you pet its belly
    • The cat goes to sleep after a few minutes of inactivity, pet its back to wake it up
  • Batteries replacement instructions
    • Requires 4 x 1,5V alkaline C batteries
    • Requires a cross-head screwdriver (not included)
    • The battery compartment is located under the animal
  • Cleaning instructions
    • Surface washable with a damp cloth
    • Do not wet or use detergents or stain removers
  • If the animal doesn’t work
    • Try to turn it off and on again
    • If this doesn’t work, change the batteries
    • Phone assistance available in Canada/US: 1-800-255-5516
  • Do not put the animal on the ground to avoid falls.

My goodness, what thoughtful technology has gone into these little 'beings'. I am amazed at the number of variations in the vocal and movement gestures, and seemingly a sensitivity via the eyes. Someone threw their heart into the creation, and I am so pleased and grateful. I have just ordered a kitty for my sister! Very comforting in these times, and perfect for an elder who has lost their live pet, and cannot adopt another due to age.

The cat is perfect. A comforting presence for my aunt who has the beginnings of Alzheimer's. Not too noisy and really realistic movements. I bought it for her during a recent convalescence and I feel it will be a very reassuring "presence" for her and will ease the transition when she has to move permanently into this environment adapted to her new condition. I've made other wonderful discoveries on your site that will "help me help her" and that I'm sure I'll be buying in the near future following the good feedback I've received from the care unit staff at her seniors' residence. I am truly delighted to have discovered your company.
