Designed by a group of researchers at the Cardiff Metropolitan University, HUG was specifically developed for people with mid to late stages of dementia. Soft, comforting plush, with the heartbeat that provides both distraction and relaxation after a few minutes. Cradling this plush is like cradling a small, harmless and caring living being, it fills us with joy and brings back some happy memories.

My mother's sleep is much more peaceful since she sleeps with HUG. She is always happy to cuddle with him at night.
