- How do I verify that my receiver is compatible with the Flipper? Aim the receiver’s current remote control away from the receiver /STB box and TV. Are you still able to change the channels or the volume ? If you can, then the system is not using infra red and the Flipper will not work.

My mother had problems with understanding the functions of the remote control and she would unintentionally "program" her TV and end up in channels she didn't listen to and lose the ones she liked.
We gave her this remote for Christmas and everything is fine now! For her it's perfect, she doesn't lose her favorite channels anymore because she loves to listen to TV, and for us it was difficult to tell her from a distance how to proceed to put things back in order.
