Eugeria's Take

We are very happy to have found this solution for microwaves and toasters. Several solutions exist for the stove, but few for 110V objects even if the risks of fire and smoke with microwaves are very real. During our FireAvert tests, the power was cut off very quickly as soon as the smoke detector was activated. Installation was easy and done in a few minutes.

Easy to install and synchronizes quickly with the smoke detector. However, you have to make sure that you have the necessary space behind the stove because the unit is quite large. The unit I received seemed to be already synchronized because the indicator light was green. I had to reset it to be able to synchronize with the fire alarm. Be sure to test it once it is installed. Note that the smart plug automatically cuts the power only if a cooking element is on, which is a positive point.
